How to Use

A quick guide to splitting the bill with Cherlock.

Split a bill

Open BrewaveThe menu is loaded live from Brewave Nomad, Bangkhae and refreshed every time you open the page. Use the refresh button to pull the latest taps and prices.

Filter the menuUse the chips to focus on one beer style, or show everything.

Pick who is orderingSelect a person chip at the top — yourself or one of your friends — then choose a size (Small, Regular, Pint, or Muc) and use + and − next to that size to add or remove glasses for that person.

Add food and seasonal itemsBelow the beer list, type a dish or seasonal item name and its price, choose who shares it with the chips, and press Add. The price is split evenly among the selected people.

Review the summaryThe Bill Summary on the right shows each person's items and subtotal, plus the grand total. With "Split equally" enabled in Settings, it also shows the even share per person.

Share and saveChoose "Share & Save." Your browser may open its share dialog or copy the summary, and the bill is saved to your History on this device.

Go live (optional)Tap "Start Live Bill" and share the link — you'll be asked for your name, and friends joining the link enter theirs. Everyone adds their own orders in real time.

Other menus

FriendsAdd the people you usually dine with. They appear as chips on the Brewave page.

HistorySearch past bills saved on this device and delete the ones you no longer need.

SettingsSet your name, the default split method, and display preferences. Saved in your browser only.

Good to know

By default everything is front-end only: bills, friends, and settings live in your browser and never leave your device.
In a live bill, orders and participants are stored in the app's backend so everyone can see them in real time.
Menu items, prices, and availability come live from Brewave and may change between visits.
Local data is not synced across devices or browsers.
